What recommendations do you have for protecting broccoli from cabbage moth/butterflies?

Soak orange or tangerine peels in distilled water at least overnight, preferably a day or two in the fridge, then strain the water and spray it on any cabbage family plant, on the top and bottom of the leaves. Also helps against powdery mildew. We've done this for years. It doesn't hurt the plants at all, and the larvae hate it.

@shekinahcancook Thank you. I've never heard of that. When do you start spraying? And how often do you spray? (I'm in southeast Michigan, zone 6b.)
