@sharan Old laptops are great. I have one (2009 Dell Vostro) running a light weight #linux install that drives my 3D printer with Octoprint. Built-in battery backup.

I gave away mine that I had for ten years. I am kinda thinking of buying one to experiment with distros. Then again, I don't want to pile up the tech stuff.
