I mentioned Bingo Boys' 2023 record 'Freak Out & Leave' in February, how I was upset I somehow missed it last year. They're from Indianapolis, Indiana and make some incredible catchy, melodic psych-ish garage/punk.
I've been going through their back catalog today and they don't even have bad songs. 🤯

@wendigo ha! Yeah Bakesale is killer but I really do love Loewenstein's songs more - started realizing that early on, I can't listen to Lou's solo stuff haha. The 2002 Loewenstein is killer too
Listening to Jason Loewenstein's 2017 solo record Spooky Action again today as I often do, yknow, just because it's one of the greatest damn albums ever recorded
@wendigo you're gonna dig that one. Especially if you're a Sebadoh fan. I dig Sebadoh but I feel like their best album is Bakesale, and I really prefer Jason's stuff so his solo stuff always sticks with me. His 2002 one is killer too. Hope we get another someday haha. Talk about a dude I'd love to go and record in his studio. If it sounds like THIS I mean 🤯
