🤦🏻♀️ 69% of Republicans and Republican-leaners say Biden’s win was not legitimate, up from 63% earlier this year and through last fall, even as there is no evidence of election fraud that would have altered the outcome of the contest.
@GottaLaff Cognitive Dissonance Bump, same reason DJT polls better after indictments. Either Republicans face that they have been supporting a criminal, or they adopt even more comforting delusions so as not to have to reach that conclusion.
Has the percentage of Republicans who are entirely deluded gone up, or has the percentage of people who will identify themselves as Republicans gone down?
@Jonathanglick@GottaLaff The poll does say that only(!) 39% believe there is solid evidence and 30% have suspicions. So for about 40% of them at least it is only a belief.
