@archaeohistories Sorry to burst the bubble but this never happened. It's a CGI picture of what could be done with drones. Also, all the historical records describing Whitby Abbey all say that it never had a spire. How do I know this? Whitby is my home town, I grew up there. I still have family there and regularly visit. This picture seems to do the rounds of social media every so often.
