This is what brought me here back in '17. The place was full of wierdos with all kinds of interests--some completely bonkers--that they'd enthusiastically post about.
I don't want Mastodon to be the new Twitter. I want people from Twitter to come here and discover that joy.

@lowqualityfacts I think most people miss the fact that anything, any flavor as long as people don't resurrect that public square again. In my mind they are winning
Proving you can get engagement with shitty takes, because people still have primitive brains and get upset, if you don't pretend their tribe or affiliation is the best at all times.
@lowqualityfacts I rather enjoy the people who are already here. Given the growing pains seen on other platforms, I’m in no hurry for this to be the next platform where EVERYONE is at.
