I tried the Photoshop beta’s new generative AI stuff, and the first two results it returned for "a hand” do not inspire confidence.

@jamesthomson I don't get why companies are still trying to sell AI to writers and artists who have, in general, vehemently rejected it. Yesterday, I saw an ad on the train for an AI writing assistant with film writers being one of the types specified. I can only imagine they made the ad before the WGA strike started.

@jamesthomson James, you know you need to be more specific in your prompts. “Norman Human Hand With Four Fingers, a Thumb, and Not at All Frightening” should do it.

You might want to add “Please” in there somewhere.

Oddly, I find both images aesthetically pleasing. For renditions of 6 and 4-fingered folks, I think this is a win.
