"Two days ago" here refers to a date in 2021, which is when archive.org archived the site.

Seriously, just display the actual date. Trying to be clever and showing a delta just means it will always be wrong. It gets more wrong the longer the browser tab remains open (unless you waste CPU keeping it updated).

@dentangle Seriously. We already have the time tag in HTML, so let the user's browser decide how to the timestamp and everyone else fall back to an ISO8601 representation.

petrescatraian,

@dentangle probably archive.org archived also the script that refers to the dates. It sucks that it doesn't display the exact dates, especially when it says a week ago or a month ago. But it's clear that two days refers to the two days before the date of the archive (e.g. suppose the archive was from 20.03.2021, then the thing is from 18.03.2021)

@dentangle I really hate the trend of "fuzzy time" like this all over the internet these days.
