Just a reminder that the US Air Force forced Chobani to change their yogurt formula to not contain any hemp seeds because some military people ate it, and if you’re not a white billionaire guy they’re that strict about something that might have contained something you could potentially have made pot out of but didn’t and in some alternate universe might trip a drug test.

Sounds like land crabs. If you eat them off the street they will be full of gross stuff. I've heard you're supposed to take them home alive and feed them good food for a couple of days first. Then (and this is why i don't know about it) just when they think they're the new housepet, it's dinner time.
@hacks4pancakes Hopefully with a global trend towards legalization/decriminalization it gets better, but these modern day slavery-powered private businesses aren't going down w/o a fight...
@hacks4pancakes same reason I don't eat raw pig, I wouldn't eat raw rich. Now, if they're already marinated in alcohol, it might make it more palatable. Not sure about the drugs, but I can ask around :)
I spent 21 years checking every food at Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s for hemp seeds in the ingredients and Elon is just casually launching spacecraft while on ketamine

it's like... i'd rather be operated on by a surgeon who does ketamine and propofol in the off periods rather than by one who lies to me and ignores my consent or lack thereof

@hacks4pancakes The US government has no need for yogurt, so they were totally free to ban it if the company didn't comply with their demands. As John Oliver has pointed out, the government now depends on SpaceX to a frightening extent, which gives Musk enormous power to get away with things like this. I suppose there is some risk to the company if the government suddenly decides that it is urgent to decrease dependency on SpaceX, but they can't just fire SpaceX.
@not2b yes, but there’s a lot more to it. They could have funded NASA or the USAF/SF to do it. There are also other competing private companies that could have been invested in long term. They could have pushed for an ouster years ago. They definitely threw their eggs in one basket with a person who had always been obviously pretty unstable.
@hacks4pancakes Maybe it's drugs but I'm still betting on the idea that he is a dumb as a rock rich man's kid who made some lucky bets and that made people think he was actually smart.

@hacks4pancakes elon, who goes on joe rogan to talk about how cool weed is and smoke a joint while also doing piss tests for all Tesla workers who get fired even if they only smoke on weekends because it's detectable for so long. 🙃
