Yesterday, the abject disrespect afforded to both Fani Willis and Diane Abbott by white men got to me. The hatred for Black women is intense and I feel all of it.
Still, you're defending a person in a crucial role who exhibited reckless careless behavior. Regardless of skin color or heritage, that is never acceptable.
You're a bitter extremist too emotionally mired in agony and injustice to be able to consider any issue peripheral to it rationally. Saying "okay racist" in this context is no different than saying "okay boomer" in another: it's your way of dehumanizing me in your mind so you can dismiss my "less-than-human" words without consideration and keep your delusional bubble intact. You're a very poor judge of character, much less what is or isn't racism.
Discussions can be made private, but @stillrise1963 didn't because it was very much intended that everyone should see the proclamation as you did, even if that proclamation hoped only for agreement and not dissent.
So, I was invited by the intentional act of the proclamation being made public.
Having been dehumanized, I took pains to remind them the mental gymnastics that had to occur to justify them doing it. You defended those gymnastics, well done.
I am not the "arbiter" of her behavior: that was the role of a court. Her recklessness was part of its judgement.
I said nothing to declare either of you my inferior. However, @stillrise1963 certainly declared me their inferior in the process of dehumanizing me. As an apparent person of color, they should know better than to EVER do that to someone else, but that is the consequence of being delusional: it justifies anything at all in defense of it.

I don't see how the Willis thing went as far as it did. There was no real money involved, so where was the crime? They just wanted to do what they've done so many times before: Use an investigation as a means to publicly humiliate the target and search for more excuses to continue digging. It's sickening.

This should have been a private hearing. Televising it like it was a trial was absolutely obscene. When you think about it for a second, you realize how completely out of the norm the entire situation was. It was started with vague innuendo, and the judge fully played along. They should all lose their law licenses or be sued or... something. So disturbing.
I posted the same opinion yesterday. I recalled other examples of what I perceived as the same thing. The first example that came to mind was Justice Jackson, Justice Sotomayor, and then went back to Anita Hill.

Trump would not have been elected unless there were literally millions of white people voting for him.
If A says racist things and B agrees with A, then B is racist. There are demonstrably millions of white racists as evidenced by Trump still being in the game. That still doesn’t mean all whites are racists.
The other person didn’t interact with millions of Black men.
If you think that as a Black man, me disagreeing that the statement “Black men want to control Black women.” is the equivalent of literal Nazis voting for Trump, but suggesting they are NOT racist, I’m not sure what I can say to convince you that they are not the same.
