@TheJen I still believe the vast majority of us wants to make the world a better place. It's just that we've built a system that rewards pure egotism and recklessness, so the trash floats to the top.
@TheJen@Blinxeto Talking to that beast is like rolling a bowling ball down a 5-mile-long alley. Takes a long time to know if it even hears you. Big sads for me when Pioneer 10 finally kicked. That was my dad's project.
@TheJen we also personally feel like space probes are kind-of the tangible expressions of humanity's hope for a future where we can focus on exploring the universe and learning everything there is to learn
