I would ask the German government why they are subordinating their laws to the ethno-religious nationalist interests of a foreign state power and criminalize protesting Jews.
Didn’t they learn about religious tolerance from the Reformation or that business about 100 years ago?
On April 24, Human Rights Watch wrote to the German government asking for an explanation of how its actions are consistent with Germany’s international & domestic obligations to protect & facilitate freedom of expression and assembly & nondiscrimination.
@andrewstroehlein They have done this before, many times before. There is no shame there. Land that gave the world Nazism, 2 world wars, genocide since the days of the Kaizer, and their book burnings.
