Qui, da pezzi rinvenuti in discarica, "nasce" Alita, apparentemente senza memorie regresse; in realtà la sua provenienza originale la renderà un elemento cardine nella lotta con Zalem, la "città nel cielo", e con colui che in essa vive.
@thegib Che, se avessero fatto, sarebbe stato semplicemente spettacolare, visto che sarebbe stato ambientato nel MotorBall: lo potrei definire, senza averlo visto (sapendo su quale parte del manga si sarebbe basato), un mix tra Rocky e Rush con estetica alla Tron (che già in parte c'era).
E poi il terzo e ultimo film con lo scontro con Desty Nova e la storia d'amore con Figura 4 a chiudere il tutto con un finale in un certo senso a metà tra Pinocchio e un Romeo e Giulietta finito bene!

Questo vale la pena solo se appassionato del fumetto o malato terminale di #Fantascienza, per il resto niente di che salvo qualche momento umoristico, il migliore è a mio parere la processione-pranzo.

In my currently work in progress, which is Kindle Vella Serial (titled WARSONG,) most people are found to carry what they are called Lightphones, which serve both as cellular phones and identification devices. It's main character, Harper, is one of her country's most recognized popstars. Her constant travel makes me think that she probably wouldn't carry anything.
Just finished an oldie, but very goldie: Vonda N. McIntyre: Superluminal (1984). (Goldie not only because she based part of the action in her home town of Seattle 😉 )
Vonda gives us new ideas galore.
A new view on how FTL spaceflight can be made up (seven dimensions, anybody?), using human pilots having undergone procedures.
Humans becoming a new species: Divers, living in the ocean - and crewing spacecraft.
Lots of diverging interests, politics, struggles, ...

@jprr I disagree with that review. The disjointed plot just adds to the mystery: was Caprice in on the desecration of Brecken's corpse? What is Detective Cope's real agenda? I'm still trying to figure it all out.
