Oh, another cool thing! My gf has started with her first level design in Unreal Engine :ed_grin:

At first a dozen tutorials on how it all works and at some point she wants to design the game levels for our games :blobcathearts:

So I do the game mechanics and she does the world design part, we love the idea of a "couple designers" team that creates games to give away for free without ads, in-app purchases or DLC's, it's all free forever without limits

You put in a lot of time, thats worth something.
There is a large difference between honest payment for work and the current ‘grab all you can’-approach..
Maybe the Shareware route? Give away first level and ask a fair amount for the full game.

Good news everyone! I had the honor of receiving Elon Musk's first Neuralink wireless brain chip! I've honestly never felt better. I am energized, focused, and can sense my brain operating at levels previously unreachable by humanity.

But I must go now, for the Tesla Gigafactory calls to me. I see the glorious assembly line each time I close my eyes. Just the thought of working myself to death there gives me an unparalleled dopamine rush.

Ik neem aan dat geen enkele PVV-stemmer morgen Sinterklaas viert. Ik bedoel: Een Spaanse arbeidsmigrant met een heleboel Islamitische arbeidsmigrantjes (Moren), die hier ‘s nachts de buurten onveilig komen maken.
En in de praktijk ook nog eens arbeidsschuw, want in ieder geval ik heb zelf mijn cadeaus moeten kopen en zelf een gedicht moeten bedenken.

@feditips @bookwyrm I chose Bookwyrm as my online Bookplatform, because it is federated and non-commercial.
It has its quirks, and the database isn’t as big as Goodreads. I love adding to it tho.
But I still want to contact them to see if I can help with the UI. Lack of time holds me back.
I know this doesn’t seem a great review, but it has great potential and does what I want from it!

For all the hype, my experiments with GPTs performing basic content tasks has been a world away from the advertised functionality.

Example: No matter how many times the “social media” bot I created acknowledges the instruction to not include hashtags in its output, every output ends with a hashtag.

Well, Mastodon is even more fucked than I thought when I built my own client.

Turns out an instance may eventually evict posts from accounts from other instances.

Say you are on instance A, and a friend is on instance B. You two have a convo. After some time, all of B's replies are gone from your instance. If you view your thread, you are missing all their replies. If you are lucky, instance B still has all replies. Or not. Poof.

What a terrible, terrible platform.

@badlogic I didn’t argue your point of Mastodon needing improvement. I’ve seen this, and other problems. I am not savvy enough to know if that stems from your instance, mine of the protocol. I know my admin does his best to provide a smooth instance with the money he has available.
I only pointed out, you have a choice within Mastodon to improve things. You can contact your admin to change settings, or choose to change or set up your own. Or help with the protocol.
