today was my late end of #30daysofbiking, added on to the april event because I literally forgot a day while working on my northshore bike map xD

anyway that's 30 days even across 31 and it was a pretty good one, 21 miles with a few buns (I posted the best picture) even if there was also what might be a stolen bike. but!

now i'm wondering how it'll affect my biking in future if at all.

started today with last-second bike switch because a tiny piece of broken glass was in the tire of the tandem project (that hasn't been upgraded to new tougher stuff yet). Every time this happens I'm convinced the glass bottle deposit should go up by $1000.10 😡 #pdxBikes #BikeTooter

same SUV, now stopped behind a school bus with a line of kids getting on, speeding before, passing on a double yellow, and failure to maintain lane now we're probably at Portland's reckless driving (3 violations in a row) ordinance and the real problem is that the narrow street where we started should not allow thru traffic

#30daysOfBiking past so much free parking on stolen land, empty churches with empty parking lots, drivers without the requisite number of headlights or license plates unable to stay off of the painted lines, some living in their cars, full parking lots at bars, signs proclaiming "we believe... support isreal in this fight", and a storm drain / flooded bike lane from March is clogged again (new report number 2803666.) Screeching brake rotor and a rusting chain, thanks to last Thursday's rain.

But in the end I didn't buy it: It's too high above ground for me.

some dad on an xtracycle edgerunner, pulling a pretty clean manual of the front wheel onto a 7in parking curb and just riding the rear wheel up it with momentum.
