🇳🇿New Zealand: Small bump in COVID-19 vaccine uptake, but still well below 2021 peak.

"The lower overall uptake could be because people were not keeping up as much with the latest COVID developments, or vaccine fatigue could be playing a part."

data was only available from a subset of people who took the survey and isn't included in the report. But I wonder if long COVID is inversely correlated with full status.

Given that in March 2023 it was estimated 1.9 million UK citizens were experiencing symptoms (ONS data), can someone explain what Prof Sir Andrew Pollard of the University of Oxford means by his recent statement?

"The science is clear that from the perspective, Covid-19 is no longer a problem for the healthy and young in the population"

How is a health issue that affects 2.9% of the population insignificant?

From 30th June the NHS will no longer offer 1st and 2nd Covid jabs to everyone, says the NHS website (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/covid-19/covid-19-vaccination/getting-a-1st-and-2nd-dose-of-the-covid-19-vaccine/). I was not aware of this.

If you're in the UK and you want a Covid vaccination but haven't had one yet (or maybe your kids?) it's now or never folks!
