Are there plans of #CollaboraOffice / #LibreOffice to support collaborative editing between #Collabora Online und LibreOffice/Collabora (offline/desktop). I mean real-time editing by several people of a file on the server, while it doesn't matter if the user uses Collabora Online or LibreOffice/Collabora Office.
No way... #CollaboraOffice don't work at the #FireTablet and #Obsidian have several issues.
Anyway I'm a mid-age guy who should be simple: I will forget all shitty technology and depend only on #LibreOffice in my laptop and use a pendrive as a backup.
Installed #CollaboraOffice in my #Android phone. I'm excited since I use #LibreOffice in my #Linux laptop, so I could view and edit the documents from the phone!
First problem: the interface is so fuckin' small !! Damn... how would look at my 7" #FireTablet?

Today I found out that google docs infects html exports with spyware, no scripts, but links in your document are replaced with invisible google tracking redirects. I was using their software because a friend wanted me to work with him on a google doc, he is a pretty big fan of their software, but we were both somehow absolutely shocked that they would go that far.
#collaboraoffice is excellent free alternative to Googles collaborative office technology, its based on Libre Office technology, #collabora is the largest contributor to #libreoffice and does a lot of other good for #freesoftware . You can install it super easy if you have a #nextcloud instance, or if you use a nice cloud host, or for no charge if you want to learn some systems administration and use your own hardware.

oder soll ich liebevoll Nerds sagen? Ich wurde von Aktivisti gefragt, ob ich Open Source Lösungen jenseits von Big Data kenne um Gruppenarbeit zu organisieren. Also ich denke mal Pads, offene Dokumente. Das einzige, was mir einfällt ist Nextcloud,wobei ich mich da auch nicht wirklich auskenne. Und wie hieß das nicht kommerzielle Big Blue Button Ding?Und dann weiß ich nicht, dass es im Fediverse etwas gibt zur Mobilisierung und ich habe vergessen wie es heißt.

Liebes #FediLZ, wir würden für unser großes Kollegium gerne eine Art Experten-Datenbank erstellen, in der man nach Experten für ein Thema suchen kann. Für jeden Kollegen sollte hier eingetragen werden, was er besonders gut kann oder welche Fortbildungen sie besucht hat. Hat jemand eine Idee, mit welchem Tool man das möglichst übersichtlich und ansprechend technisch lösen kann?
@CollaboraOffice on Android has been improving quietly. UI received some subtle changes in the last couple of months making it better and looking more polished. I have been using snapshots for a while, to capture my bicycle miles.
The only thing i dislike is general responsiveness sometimes. I have a feeling you have to hard press the screen for it to recognize your action. Maybe i have been doing it wrong
Ooh, noticed tonight that @libreoffice are publishing new versions of LibreOffice Viewer for Android on F-droid.
Needed to view a docx file on my degoogled phone, and this worked a treat. Feels like it's made a lot of progress since I last tried it a few years ago. #LibreOffice
