Good morning to all of you amazing folks around the #Fediverse today!
For our #MorningMoments today, let's talk about our plans for the day. Tell me what you've already accomplished or what you hope to accomplish before the day ends.
For me, it's just the usual work stuff, then video games. Most likely an hour or so of Destiny 2, then more Starfield.
Might try streaming my #Destiny2 Ghosts of the Deep solo run in a bit. I would eventually like to do flawless because the banner looks cool, but today's goal is just to finish solo so I can pick up the seal. It's the last thing I need!
#Destiny2 This crafting bug stuff was all over Spire and Summoning last night, of course. Got an ‘under 2 minutes’ Summoning triumph done (for one round/encounter) because both teammates were spamming what sounded like ARs hitting like shotguns.
Took me a day longer than I wanted (thanks, Comcast, way to be you and bork my net for almost 24 hours) but I have finished #Destiny2 Season of the Witch. Might be the last season I bother with, tbh. All I mostly been doing is grinding bounties. I can grind on any of the MMOs I like to play, heh. #Starfield, here I come. .. Tomorrow. #Gaming#VideoGames#ShareYourGames
Hand cannons are too powerful now. I'm one-shotting stuff at scout rifle range. They do too much damage to majors (Special weapons exist for a reason). As a hand cannon fan, I think they actually need a nerf.
Easily one of my favorite features of being back on #Windows for gaming in the last couple years is the Volume mixer option in system settings.
I dig having this granular control over everything playing audio. When farming/grinding a lot of #Destiny2 content, I put on YouTube videos and it's tedious to go into each app or browser tab to adjust this stuff.
Windows Button > type "mixer" > Return > Bob's your uncle. Say hi for me.
📢 #Destiny2 If you've never done Presage, the exotic mission in rotation this week (Legends section, top of Destinations), I think you owe it to yourself.
It's arguably one of the best exotic missions they've ever made, and a unique experience compared to others.
A derelict ship, a mystery, some mild creepy vibes (though not jump scares). Fun little story beat pre-Witch Queen too. #SeasonOfTheWitch
AFAIK, people were mainly upset that Bungie basically said "we don't have a dedicated PvP team, that's why we rarely make maps." Also that Gambit may have effectively been put on life support. And that Bungie hasn't come through on a promise of new armor sets for core (free) activities.
Just kidding this is the first one I've run into in ~ 30 hours after beating it once and now re-rolling biomes to hunt for gear and all the bosses I haven't seen yet #VideoGames
