about every two years I ditch my init.el and build back up from scratch, and every time it feels great. I'm finally breaking off from org-roam which, for all the good its done me, has become a thorn in my side due to the centralized store. about to give #hyperbole a try, which I've been interested in for a while now.
Every time I see a #hyperbole talk at #EmacsConf, I am tempted to give it another try. I can't remember what annoyed me about it last time. I guess I should install it again.

@ramin_hal9001@jeko lol, I need to put a repository up collecting example scripts. the problem is that I keep all my sketches all in a single, encrypted #OrgRoam repo, which is also where I do my accounting and bills, and WIP writing, etc... this is why I'm becoming interested in #hyperbole, it acts as a hub for organizing and associating links across many repositories, giving you many of the same benefits but without locking you into a monorepo-style approach for the store
