Was flipping through one of my old college textbooks tonight looking something up, and the fact that this hot plate has a positive and negative marked on the cord reminds me of how many different ways I don't miss modern college textbooks nor college itself.

This reminds me of the (unpublished) card game I designed about censoring knowledge of the supernatural. After putting all that work into getting the epidemiology right I got bored. She had also fallen for an online dating scammer. Both of these women were very intelligent w/professional careers. Of the handful of women I dated from 2013 to 2020 this is ~40%. My experience makes me think your numbers are an understatement.
