And it would have the added benefit of not muddying the waters and not implying that a particular creative community is out to get everyone and their dog.
In other words, there is zero reason — none! — to drag hackers into this. Apart from clickbait, perhaps, but I wouldn't dare suggest that that's a consideration at a serious outlet like #Mashable!
