Hey @Wuzzy . I hope you can help me. I would like to create grids from Minetest for Steam. To do this, I always look for the font of the respective game in order to have more freedom. Here is also the problem. I can't find the font / fonts. Was the textlogo created by hand? If not, I'm looking for the old Minetest textfont (0.4.7 - 0.4.13) and the new one (0.4.14 - 5.7.0). If this has already been answered somewhere, I'm sorry for the disruption.

Sadly, two of my Minetest contributions died recently. They would have added 2 helper scripts to update and syntax-check the files for mods. This code was used successfully in production for a long time but still was rejected because it is not "on the roadmap". 😠

Apparently quality assurance is not a priority in development. 🤪

@rubenwardy @oblomov @zughy_boi What pissed me off is that this was rejected due to a formality with zero discussion. I consider the translation update tool to be extremely important (maintaining game translations is a complete nightmare, if not outright impossible without it) and I also used it to update builtin. I just don't understand why coredevs disagree this thing is important. Just because of a technicality?

@thefwguy So do you have any arguments to defend the behind many "smart" devices like Amazon Echo or Ring? The spy metaphor is spot on, actually. There have been numerous reports in the press of corporations actively collaborating with law enforcement to use it against their owners. It is not terrorism to criticize this system. The fact that some private citizens are welcoming this system with open arms is concerning.

I do agree that providing sources does help tho.
