Dome of Sulzer Regional Library, Ravenswood, Chicago. We really lucked out when we moved to this neighbourhood. It is a true 15 minute neighbourhood and our one of our favorite spots is the Library.
Confession: This is my first bowl of grits. Amazing and creamy and you don't want the bowl to end. If you are ever at the Montrose Brown Line, go to Spoken Cafe right under the CTA and order the Acadian Grits. And the coffee is half priced if you get a mug!
Last two books for my Bookmaking Class at Lillstreet! First one is a French chain long stitch book. I LOVE the cover and the pattern on spine but had some trouble with the paper.
We were feeling a low bit cooped up at home so decided to go to a new Board Game meetup in our neighborhood we hadn't attended before. Played "Oriflamme Ablaze" and had a blast. Reflecting later, we realized last night from this experience just how important it can be to get out and meet people, and how we can all come together to build communities.
On my very (very) cold commute to work this morning. This is outside Ducle de Leche Cafecito, a really cute tiny cafe just about 5 minutes from my apartment. It has handmade bagels and one of the best lattes I have had. It was also the first place I had Cafe de Olla.
