Started reading three thick books at same time:

• Two on Philosophy
• One on Theology

All with diverse essays in almost 1100 pages.
I'm not bragging here, I just wonder if I'm doing wrong with that way.

Just wrapped up by and absolutely loved it! I was a little hesitant to jump in when I learned it was done in an "interview the characters" style, but thankfully my fears were squashed quickly. It's a well written piece that explores the idea that we are not alone in the universe but also that something way beyond our comprehension was left for us to find.

I followed up 's 1984 with 's companion piece which retells the story of the original from the perspective of Julia. It's very neat to see more of this world and match events from a different pair of eyes. Still has that depressing overtone, still incredibly interesting and it adds a lot to the mix to help flesh out some of the world that the original didn't explore.

Because I’ve had certain conversations with a certain 10yo about what’s allowed when reading and what counts as reading… The answer is anything and everything! 👇Handy reminder of the Rights of the Reader based on Daniel Pennac's book illustrated by Quentin Blake

Recently read: House of Shadows by Darcy Coates

Gothic romance/horror, very tropey, very formulaic BUT it is not a bad thing when that is exactly what I’ve been looking for and I eat it up like candy

Just finished 'Norse Mythology' by Neil Gaiman. Excellent, as always!

Now starting 'This is How You Lose the Time War' by @tithenai & @maxgladstone
