Paused my #TheCloneWars rewatch earlier in preparation for #Ahoksa and was rewatching some #StarWarsRebels season 1. Haven't watched Rebels in a while and I forgot how fun it was and the awesome family dynamic of the Ghost crew. Looking forward to Ahsoka even more now and as some have been saying its probably gonna be basically Rebels season 5. TCW will always be my favorite but Rebels is pretty good especially with so much Clone Wars things in it. That Chopper heh heh

On this day - August 15, 2008 - The Clone Wars movie was released in theaters and the series would air on Cartoon Network that October.
The movie was the pilot for the series and notably introduced us to several new characters which would become main characters in the whole series - Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, and Asajj Ventress
I literally stopped watching #TheCloneWars movie because I thought the CGI was meh (it was) and #Ahsoka was annoying.
Now that I've watched every second that Ahsoka has been on screen, read and loved the book about her, I'm sitting here crying watching promo material about the new show.
I love that character so much.
I'm so excited. Hera, Sabine and Ahsoka are some of the best #StarWars characters that have ever been made. Right up there with Timothy Zhan's Thrawn.
