The Daylight DC1 got the right stuff: #eink, #Android and a #Wacom stylus. But I got the same with my Onyx Boox devices. Do I really need 60FPS at $729?
For a device that claims to be "plug-and-play" on it's product page, I sure spend a lot of time trying to work out why my #Wacom tablet suddenly decided to stop working from one day to the next.
Out of a whim, I decided to get my 10 year old #Cintiq 13HD Companion Hybrid out of storage. #Wacom no longer supports this model, but I got it to run with their oldest driver that supports Windows 11.
I'm not sure what I will use it for, but it was fun trying out the different brushes with #krita . These days I use #Inkscape for most of my graphical design work, but it's nice to have options.
Got a new small Wacom to use with Figma - trying to wean myself from the trackpad for ergonomy sake. Hardware is beautiful, software’s shockingly bad, almost the same as the last time I used it a decade ago.
@Kazhumazu Hey, unfortunately, X broke all the last possible methods Nitter could display account or posts, or threads. It's recent, read https://nitter.cz/
My microcontroller is actually reading data from the pen now. I need to tweak some of the resistor values (The incoming data is still clipping, and the integrator has some more range it could potentially use).
Currently using the RP2040 onboard ADC, which isn't great in terms of accuracy, and I also have a very small window in which to sample my signal. But I do have a footprint for an external ADC on the pcb, which might improve things.
Like, it's REALLY bad..... this is me probing between the little RP2040 board GND and the main board GND.
The charge pump is currently being driven by 5 I/O pins shorted together just to supply enough power (yes, that is slightly above full package power). And I need this because I am just using a charge pump, to deliver an amount of power, one shouldn't really use a charge pump for. I'm doing all of this because I didn't realize the opamps I picked just draw a stupid amount of idle current.
Seriously Wacom, what wild lapse of judgement in your addled mind made you think it was a smart idea to make an update to generate random punctuation characters everywhere a person taps with their pen?! And why the hell have you not rolled back this ridiculous update yet? Do you guys not test ANYTHING these days?! #wacom#ui#idiocracy

Hahaha... Montag!
