Finding Your Self at the Heartbreak Hotel by Alice Huddon & Ruth Field
Alice Haddon, psychologist of over twenty-five years, and Ruth Field, bestselling self-help author, show us how we can dissect heartbreaks, mine them for strength and live our most empowered life. They also examine how society sets up women to fall into love traps and engage bad habits of self-sacrificing and enabling.

Having lots of memories of #relationships I wasn't ready to say goodbye to.
One from last year still lingers with me. Everything felt good, the #sex was great, had nice dates, we were saying "I love you", and then the day after my birthday I wake up to a sudden #breakup text. They felt they couldn't give me the "relationship I deserved". It sucked, felt like something was being decided for me. Then they ghosted me.
Logically I see how it's good it ended, but I'm still sore about it.
Went to make my Vegemite toast. Seems missus has bought some Aldi-brand (I think) butter and not Lurpak. So, y'know, it's been a long ride, but we're done. #Lurpak#ICantBelieveItsNotLurpak#Breakup
Yoo In Na deserves the Best Actress award for this show, especially for episode 05. She perfectly captured and portrayed a person who loves their ex deeply, gave everything, and only to be dumped later for someone else.
It was as if Yoo In Na experienced it herself. She cried naturally, was she still acting? She showed her character's desperation, she shook, her body movements and facial expressions were exactly what it is in real life.
And that's just the character she's playing. We haven't even started talking how great the show is in pacing and focusing on what a person goes through when heartbroken. From break-ups, refusing to accept their new reality, to moving-on, and to picking the pieces of their broken heart. And we're only at episode 5 and 6.
As long as I am worthy,
as long as my charm is still present,
Even if that's not the case,
It's okay to break up or be alone.
Someday, I'll be recognised by someone
and love less and be loved more.
