So thrilled about this: John Wall confirmed my invitation to play at Les Ateliers Claus on the 14th of September with @cfolle and more TBA. In case you plan on being around Brussels at that time, save the date!

Hey friends and fans!
Bandcamp Friday is coming!
Here is a fresh release.
It's a work in progress: Every once in a while I will add on more tracks, little side projects or musical monads. Early adopters/supporters get a better price for this album than later ones. Enjoy!

Here's the latest post from my blog! I discuss making "composite" sounds using FFT spectra for part of a current composition project.

My site is all hand-written, but I found that drafting as Markdown in my Joplin notebook, and then converting to HTML in the terminal makes me much more inspired to write.

The prompt for Genuary 2024 Day 23 is 16x16. For this , I coded "Dottery" with the 16x16 grid of TixyLand and the slowed down sounds of SonicPi

Poem

The flow
The tunes
The rhythm
As it reaches the rooms
Hidden
In this 16x16 format
In a digital habitat
Waiting to bloom

Günther Rabl - Monolog 1
from the Album 'Odyssee' released on canto crudo

computer music (1991-92)
commission for the Austrian pavillion at the EXPO 92, Sevilla

flute motives by
basic material : flute motives, recordings of a cataract [2-8,10-17]
methods : numerical impuls synthesis [1,9,18] algorithmic composition

"... A travel developes that leads far beyond all accostumed. The illusion should not have been the wandering of Odysseus, but the fantastic experiences and views of a voyage that from time to time crossed the borders of the known world. The voyage ends in the head or maybe it starts there; confusingly the singing of the sirenes mixes with the rush of distant seas."

Poem

The Ordered List
Wants to Be Seen, Wants to Be Heard
They Decided to Split Into Thirds
For They Believe in the Power of Three
The Power That Their Voices Combine
Will Be Able to Move Mountains Or At Least a Tree
That is the Wish From the Ordered List

Just a reminder that you can dig into the process behind and discoveries from some of @BBCRD's biggest projects with the Case Studies page on MakerBox...

@Connected_Studio @BBCRD I checked just one of these, the Audio Orchestrator, and it seems exceptional (Hans Tammen is a fine composer too!)

I'm going to read through all of these presently. Thanks for doing all of this!!
