Poetic Carousel 2

#NaPoWriMo #NaPoGenMo #Ruby #Python

Blogpost and other poem: https://blog.illestpreacha.com/napowrimo24-poetic-matrices2

Poem 2

Poetic Stanza 1 :
[['b' 'a' 'u' 'm']
['d' 'g' 'f' 'q']
['o' 'i' 'k' 'h']
['j' 'n' 'y' 'p']]

Poetic Stanza 2:
[['b' 'd' 'o' 'j']
['a' 'g' 'i' 'n']
['u' 'f' 'k' 'y']
['m' 'q' 'h' 'p']]

Behold ancient utilities Manufactured
Deliberately guided for quenched
On Icy Kingdom Hills
Joining numerous yards, Present

Brining dubious ointments jarred
And grains inside Nil
Uniquely fractured, Keeping youth
Mindlessly quiet, hiding proof

Overlaid sketches that were coded in LiveCodeLab

Poem

Rectangles roaming
Rotating & rolling
Running & rimming along
Reciting the rhymes that belong
Twirling and twisting
Avoiding the mistakes that were tripping
As the angles of the others are tilting
Tiling and tipping
Tipping to the ways as the rectangles are roaming

Poem

Looping Time
Time skipping
As it rewinds
As the traceability moves forwards
As the lines
Move to make the graph complete
For it repeats
Even when incomplete
For this is how it wakes and sleeps
And reawakes for the graph to re-begin

I had a very nice bike ride today. I was feeling frustrated and a bit tired, and it was a bit cold and windy, but I knew it would be just what I needed. And sure enough, the beautiful light, fall colors, and exercise eventually brought me out of my funk, and by two thirds of the way through I was smiling the whole way back. It was worth it hauling the extra weight of the big camera. Please enjoy these photos of some maple trees and their jewelry.

shot looking up at a maple tree that is red and green, with an orange one to the right, and a bright blue sky.
a dark trunk on the left, and an array of differently colored maple leaves. Many have already fallen from the tree in the middle, exposing more of the sky.

A long-dormant wish to learn music was activated by a visit to the amazing Moogseum in Asheville.

I fell in love with electronic music as a listener decades ago, but I never really thought about the science of its production before. I came away from my visit starving to know more.
