Genau. #davx5 ist eine sehr wichtige APP im Bezug auf Sync mit einer #Nextcloud und allen Endgeräten. Diese APP kann aber nicht die Filter aus #thunderbird synchronisieren, weil #k9mail keinen import dieser Filtereinstellungen vorsieht. Also bis heute.
I'm slowly discovering all the nice stuff in #GNOME46 that other #gnome devs have been working on.
My personal favorite so far are the generic Cal/Card/WebDav accounts, for several reasons.
First of all, I use CalDav and CardDav extensively, both personally and at work. Especially my contacts are something that I on one side want to be available on all my devices - and on the other side really want to have control over. I.e. I only want that data on providers I trust.
On my phone - which is not yet a #linuxmobile one - I use the fabulous #davx5, while on my desktops the only real option for me was #Thunderbird
And while that is fine, trying using a Gnome Online Account suddenly showed me what I've been missing out so far, which is not only great native apps like #gnomecalendar , but also #gnomeshell integration, global search providers etc.
Until now - around two weeks - the experience has been awesome and it's definitely changing the way I use Gnome.
Anyone else experiencing issues with #davx5 on #grapheneos lately? I am syncing with a nextcloud and have some errors every day. Something regarding "local transaction failed", buffer space etc.
Other devices syncing from the same network against the same nextcloud seem fine...
Can you recommend me a good open (can be payed) #calendar app for #android?
I synchronize tasks and calendars from #NextCloud using #DAVx5.
I successfully replaced GTasks with Tasks.org app, GKeep with NextCloud Notes but still looking for a good calendar app.

#radicalehttps://radicale.org is a great solution for those who seek a minimalist #selfhosted contact and calendar sync server. I just deployed it and works great with Android and #davx5 ! (One by one, getting rid of my bloated Nextcloud server, and moving off to smaller micro services!)
Please tell me I am not the only one whose #addressbook is filled with actual contact pictures, birthdays and as much detail as possible about their #contacts?
What is your favourite #fdroid app? Would be interested if I can discover a few new cool apps, I missed until now. Thank you already for sharing! @fdroid
Wir benutzen momentan #Nextcloud mit #DAVx5 und #OpenTasks auf unseren Android-Smartphones. Aber das synchronisiert zu träge, wenn wir beide bei Aldi sind und auf unseren Smartphones jeweils Einträge abhaken oder auch mal was hinzufügen.
Teilweise werden sogar Änderungen vom anderen User überschrieben, was halt auch blöd ist.
