Since 2018, sports betting has been quickly legalized across much of the United States — and it’s created countless problems.

Germany actually has a similar approach with the gambling agency.

It actually tries to set rules that protect gamblers (no loans, no advertising, no parallel games, regulated user accounts) and limits the kinds of games available.

Proceeds from gambling don't have to be non-profit, though. So gambling is still lucrative for casinos with a license. Or the states with their state run lottery.

"We know the community is over it", says TAB spokesperson re gambling advertisements during football before 8:30pm. Yes, we are TOTALLY over it, so don't do it!!!

And why, why, why is the AFL encouraging gambling problems by having an official relationship with Sportsbet??? Hasn't the AFL seen the damage gambling has caused for cricket? Clearly they don't care about the damage to people's personal lives by constantly encouraging them to gamble whenever they watch football.

so the USA billionaire mafia bought themselves judges and a Congress to deregulate , and quickly turned bookies into partners into their VC-funded gambling schemes, are now turning against and going after personnel and athletes for allegedly gambling?

as long as executives at and any other sports leagues are in cahoots with black-box gambling sites that can manipulate wins & loses with a line a code, they're the ones that should be RICO'ed into oblivion.
