It's time for forget-me-nots again. Unfortunately, I don't have any in the garden this year, they have disappeared without trace (in mouse stomachs?). Luckily I still have some left in a tin.
Pieces that only exist once in the world.
My beloved fairy necklace with earrings went to a client in Hollywood. Paper yarn in fairy green with Japanese glass art. Elaborately handmade. For people who dare.
I still make them today in several colours, but each one is unique. Why did I never made one for me?! 🤔
Like a little color? Okay, a lot of color! These two necklaces are from my bead soup (leftover beads from various projects). I think they are fun and sparkly!
I consider all of my pieces to be unisex. I think anyone who wants to wear these should!
Day 11 #ArtAdventCalendar. I volunteer in a #museum and #culturalHeritage centre. Marvelling at historical pieces often turns into inspiration. Sometimes I experiment with #perlage. Most of the old techniques are now forgotten and have to be painstakingly reconstructed. Here I tested simple 😁 bead embroidery. #ArtAdventCalendar Day 4. My love for #paperArt started after a burnout as I slowly turned back to life with turning #paperBeads. I became so fascinated by #paper that I started to design jewellery combining glass art, textile elements and paper yarn. In a one-week process with several steps, the paper beads become as hard as softwood and waterproof. Meanwhile, I also build plants and insects made of paper ... stay tuned!
