I've bought an ErgoDash #MechanicalKeyboard and I'm using it with the Italian (142) layout on my OS.
It's obviously impossible to find #keycaps with such layout (it's even difficult to find normal Italian layout...) so I'm planning to search for a custom set.
I've found https://fkcaps.com/custom/ that's quite nice but in USA, so low shipping but high custom fees and additional VAT.
Is there're something similar in Europe? #askFedi
I mean, I had noticed some yellowing of the GMK Colorchrome #keycaps, but I just came across an unused one…
In reality, they look even yellower. Not quite as yellow as some of the #Atari ST keycaps, but the Colorchromes are less than a year old! At least they have all yellowed equally. #MechanicalKeyboards

Did anyone ever think about refinishing the base of a #c64 keyboard to make translucent #keycaps shine brighter than in front of a black base? Well… here it is!
Oh yes, at long last the C64 keycaps from Jim Drew's Indiegogo campaign arrived! It was a long saga before they got here, the first parcel from the production company got lost along the way, but in the end Jim sorted it all out and sent me another one. I gave it new #keycaps and hand lubed each switch, even replaced the stabilizers. All-in-all I'm pretty proud of what I did with it, even if it's not the thockiest.

Time for new #keycaps for my #mechanicalkeyboard builds. These are from Yong Qui, doubleshot PBT, about 1.4x mm thick. Good feel in the fingers, nice & consistent legends. More when I actually use them in a build.
