Well y'all, this past week I have seen my first #cybertruck in the wild. And this morning I saw my second cybertruck in the wild.
Swell.
They look just as boxy, ugly, out-of-place, and pretentious in person as they do in pictures.
First in #OklahomaCity, second in #EdmondOK, which is separated from #OKC by one street. So there is the chance it was the same vehicle. I sincerely hope so. It just pains me to think that there might be two such complete, unadulterated fools in this area.
Is it just me? The sea of alternating blue and white T-shirts alternating by section in #OKC is oddly unsettling. Gives off a weird Stepford Wives, Brave New World, Logan's Run vibe that's making this game hard to watch. #NBA#NBAPlayoffs#basketball

Last week we were at the grocery store, and I made eye contact with the only person other than us who was wearing a mask. He happened to be a Black man.
It's just anecdotal from our north #OKC, but I feel like most of the people I still see masking up are Black. I don't think that's an accident.
#OKCPS Superintendent Sean McDaniel tendered his resignation this morning, effective June 30.
Every news article I've read so far lauds McDaniel's performance during his 6yr stint, citing especially the #PathwayToGreatness project that closed 15 schools and restructured 19 others in 2019.
What I'd like someone to report on is how in Jan. 2019, McDaniel straight up lied to an auditorium packed with worried parents, faculty, and staff who voiced their legitimate concerns over #P2G...
...concerns which have all have come to pass since then. No teacher I've spoken to over the past few years has had anything positive to say about McDaniel's Pathway to "Greatness" -- which, as it happens, absolutely ruined my daughter's elementary school and made her 1st-grade year a shitshow we still haven't recovered from.
"For months, [Superintendent] Walters has been trying to oust the principal of John Glenn Elementary in Western Heights because he performs as a drag queen, which is not a crime. His teaching certificate and the district's accreditation have both been threatened."
If the teacher in the article truly is a predator, then his license certainly does need suspending.
But anything coming from sociopathic Christofascist bigot Ryan Walters is suspect to me.
