So, Wednesday was the 20th anniversary of my dad's passing.

I wanted to write something but the words just aren't there. My relationship with my dad was complicated. He was raised by an abusive alcoholic father and, tho not an alcoholic himself, carried a lot of the anger that had been passed from generation to generation.

It wasn't all bad. My dad was a practical joker and liked to laugh. But I think his creativity was stifled by my grandfather's iron fist.
