Is SoFi Stadium dangerous for fans? A study indicates many other NFL venues are worse
I get that it’s literally the title of the article, OP, but these two sentences have nothing to do with each other. Moreover, “other stadiums are worse” is a slack ass excuse.
There’s nothing wrong with it. The user you’re replying to is the only thing worse than a paid shill. An unpaid shill. Check out their post history and their identical alt accounts on other instances. Fully half the time of you see incredibly stupid shit anywhere on Lemmy… it’s them.
If you’re to much of a little bitch to just accept the community note about what you really are then you’ll never rise up and claim the means of production. 😂🤣😂
Feels like a dumb question, but I haven’t ever worn a pair of boots that didn’t hurt in some way. Is this just a feature of boots, or am I doing something wrong?
To expand on this - I’m interested in thinking about times that a cause we support won, not only because maybe it feels good to see positive stories instead of all negative, but also because specific examples might help illustrate why it won, and reveal strategies we can use in the future.
Thirty or so years ago Gorbachev’s decision to allow elections with a multi-party system and create a presidency for the Soviet Union began a process of democratization that eventually destabilized Communist control and contributed to the collapse of the Soviet Union. The remnants of the old Communist party can be found today on lemmygrad.

Is this a surprise? In challenging economic times we can have bailouts or bankruptcies. If we don’t want to privatize our gains and socialize our losses then bankruptcies it is.
It should come as no surprise that Rupert Murdoch has decided to step down from the top of his media empire. Yet the news that the 92-year-old, no longer in the best of health, will not die in the job, as he always suggested he would, came as a huge shock....
You’d think a ‘Pub, of all people, would know that giving to someone who hasn’t earned it is socialist. As staunch capitalists, ‘Pubs earned all the blame and they can keep it.
I saw various articles saying you should get new shoes every 300-500ish miles, but I’m skeptical if they just want you to spend more money by saying that. Do you follow this advice, or do you put more miles on your shoes than this? Do you think 1000 miles on a pair of shoes would be too much?...
Hi OP. Every 300 -> 500 is good advice. I’m usually at around 450 but I should probably be a bit earlier. Every 1,000 is somewhere between extremely impractical and foolhardy.

2). Require vaccines for participation in publicly funded social programs. Schools. Social Security. Etc.
3). Allow doctor authorized health waivers to number 2.
4). Wait.
Most people will get the free vaccines either because they’re reasonable people, because the vaccines are free, or because they want government services. Those that don’t will die earlier. Eventually even stupid people will notice or they’ll be dead.
