Fuck, you’re getting pizza parties? There hasn’t been enough in the budget for a pizza party (or non-insulting raises) for the people who actually do the work after the salaried shitheads got double their usual bonus this year. Profits are up, after all.

Eh, the SocDems would probably point to Vienna’s social housing as something that’s going well and try to do something similar. But you’d need socialists in government to build a duck ton of housing, and fund repairs adequately. Some places that’s not too ridiculous of an idea, others would be nearly impossible.
I don’t know if it’s that much of a minor change. The code around gender seems to be rather interesting - the dwarf is explicitly of “undefined” gender, and iirc that defaults to female in a couple of weird places. And how do you handle explicitly gendered cutscenes? Leah and Alex have heart events that are contingent on the farmer’s gender (and - spoilers - George gets over his homophobia if you marry Alex as a male farmer - how would George respond to a non binary farmer on spring 1 year 1?)
I think it would be awesome if CA did add a non-binary option, but I think someone who actually is non-binary is going to be able to do way better with with writing authentic interactions. CA is awesome, and I assume he’s a trans ally, but I think this would take an absurd amount of research for him to do well.
That said, I’ll be disappointed if Haunted Chocolatier doesn’t have a non-binary option.
Is this logic flawed? Obviously in swing races, vote how it’s needed, but if it’s probably going to be a landslide, why not vote for a third party? Some regions even allow for multiple party representation if enough people show interest, so it could be doing future good (if you think more parties is better representation)
And you got the fancy expensive blades. Feather blades are fantastic and you can buy a box of 100 for like fifteen bucks. They’re a bit too aggressive for me, I like Derby blades, but I wouldn’t really recommend them (also I’m not super impressed with their quality control, I keep finding dud blades).
The Agora might also be a fantastic suggestion for this because agreeing on an instance-wide definition, and policy, for removing mods who haven’t been active for several months might be a good idea. Beyond that, maybe some light formal policies for moderators specifically? I don’t think excessive, or any, policies for moderators beyond that of a regular user, is necessarily a good idea, but it might be an interesting question to discuss.
I set it in Google calendar with a notification 15 minutes before I need to call. I struggled a lot more before smartphones, and I still wonder if that pda I wanted in grade school would have actually helped.
On a side note, anyone know a reliable FOSS replacement for Google calendar?

Can confirm, Florida is full of morons. I used to live in Melbourne Florida, and the local bus service is the Space Coast Area Transit. It took me a while before I noticed what the acronym should be, and it’s pretty obvious why I never saw it used anywhere. It was an accurate description of their public transit, too.

I don’t think that’s the argument you think it is. Gay bros and corporations have turned it from activism and throwing bricks at cops into a heavily capitalist party. It pink washes a bunch of shitty corporations - Target sponsors my local corporate pride. Remember last year when they pulled everything that recognizes trans people from their pride collection in order to cave to a handful of terrorists? They’re probably going to drop the T again this year, and they’ve already resumed donations to Republicans. And Ron DeSantis is currently doing a genocide of trans people in Florida, but the Gays only kinda care about that.

Yup, Florida pulled a similar stunt before. Orange County Florida (location of Disney) got the signatures to put mandatory paid sick leave on the ballot, but the county commissioners delayed it long enough for the state government to kill it. Here’s an article that goes into more detail on the bullshit pulled that time.
I was also born in Orange county, and grew up in Osceola. We got Bucs games. I moved to Minnesota for college (or rather I used college as an easy way to escape Florida), definitely a downgrade on the football team but at least they’re not the Jags, lol.
That’s actually what their “death penalty” is trying to do. Apparently most of the money she stole is in overseas bank accounts and relies on her taking action to actually give it back. She has appeals and if she paid up the appeals will probably back down from the death penalty.
