Heath Chapel is tucked away in the Clee Hills. Formally part of the abandoned medieval village, parts date from the 1140s. It's an incredible building, rich with the spirit of the past. I felt as if centuries of the congregation greeted me at the door. 💚

I had a lovely day visiting Boscobel House for the first time. It was converted by John Giffard in 1632 from a timber framed farmhouse.
Most famously, It was where Charles II hid to escape Parliamentary soldiers after the Battle of Worcester.

Astley Abbot's Church contains the remains of a 'maiden garland'. Heart shaped and decorated with cloth and ribbons, It exists in memory of Hannah Phillips. #folklore states she drowned on the eve of her wedding in May 1709. She still haunts the local area in her wedding dress.
