I was thinking about how I missed having an indoor thermometer that measures humidity. It’s such a small specific thing, one I’d never think of getting unless pushed to it (which I was by one particularly dry winter). But I like having one now....
I can’t agree more! I have tried both soda stream and drinkmate and would recommend the drinkmate. It’s just better, you can fizz juice and non-water drinks. Soda stream is also a consumer boycott target if you don’t want to support the genocide in Palestine. 😬
I’m lazy AF, so I just give it a gooood rinse in hot water after every use. I will say it is one more step than the soda stream but there is the added benefit that you never will need to play against the clock when dumping syrups it after you’ve carbonated. I always ended up with a sticky mess after failing to seal in time with the soda stream.
This is an old photo. This was the very first cat tree we bought for Sencha before we realized he was a bit bigger than the average cat. We ended up having to return the tree because it was too small for him. He briefly used the tree but he could never seem to be able to find a comfortable spot on it....
I was forced to search for “the one” when I got my mainecoon. His 20 pound butt leaps from this sucker and it stays upright. I have two of these. www.chewy.com/…/108188
My dad told me to eat salads and lose weight when I was a little kid. I will never forget. Please don’t shame her, weight and appearances are so touchy but criticizing every bite I ate only fucked me up. I was chubby, I still consider myself the same proportional level of chubby as when I was a kid. I have yoyo dieted my whole life and when I see him I still just push food around my plate.
The one great thing I remember about my childhood was driving long distances the two of us. He would often need to drive a few hours out of town to pick stuff up for work, and I would sit in the passengers seat with one of those huge map books and I would navigate us there. It was a ton of fun just doing mini road trips once or twice a month.
I also went to conventions related to his profession, the topic was boring but conventions of any type inevitably have loads of candy dishes. Just doing things together the two of us felt special.
I knew when I was 12 I never wanted children. I got married at 20. I got fixed at 24. I am almost 40 and have no regrets other than not getting fixed sooner, but finding a doc to fix a lady at 18 is damn near impossible.
Wow okay the app is buggy AF, I thought my first comment replied to you but after submitting it showed me responding to me. So I’m high and just assume I made a booboo, no problem delete and re-reply correctly. Except it did the same thing after submitting, I refreshed and both are correctly responding to you. Wtf I’m not buying this app it makes me look like an idiot 😆
I had a white mother and got a wooden spoon. Always made me wonder if the chancla stereotype was for real? Also hope you recovered from your childhood 🙏❤️

What's your go-to munchies snacks?
We have been eating a lot of ice cream lately when we get our bake on, but that is not ideal. Bonus points for healthy snacks.
If everyone had access to healthcare the net benefit of treating the mental illness and other disabilities holding them back would easily cover the cost of the healthcare itself.
