@erictopol Comorbidity is a huge part of this, too. For example, anemia itself isn't really considered a major health problem, but there are a lot of reports (myself included) that seem to point to Anemia + Covid as a recipe for life-changing long-term effects.
I beg of you, just say Twitter. Don't say birdsite, or T******, or any other cute thing. Just say Twitter, so people can mute that word and not see your post.
Same with Musk. Or Trump. Or any other thing you think some of your audience doesn't want to see. Just say the word and let people mute that word. Please.
I noticed an intersection of my dear wife’s worst fear and my #Steam library so I made a new collection. Any suggested additions? Clearly I need at least eight. 🕷️
Calling it a gotcha that I "critique Biden policies after voting for him" is what's wrong with US politics today.
Voting for him doesn't mean I can't critique him—it's literally the best reason to be critical. It's called holding electeds accountable. It's how democracy works. And it’s how political parties work when they aren’t cults.
@QasimRashid Exactly. This "all or nothing" attitude from the Left, that we have to agree with a politician 100% or we won't vote for them, is incredibly harmful. We are so fractured because of this inability to negotiate, compromise, and be constructively critical.
We really need to carve out space to talk about #vaccineinjury
Fear of stoking anti-vax sentiment means vaccine injuries are ignored or not treated properly.
We also will fail to drive innovation in #COVID treatments if we can't fully assess the limitations of the ones we have
@gemcarey This is so true. I have POTS and CFS. It was either triggered from Covid, or from the vaccine. There are reliable reports of both happening. I never really speak about the latter possibility though, because I don't want to add any fuel to harmful anti-vax conspiracy theories.
