New filmmaker learnings: On our shoot last month for @missionplanmovie I thought it would be a good idea to run through individual lines in an extreme closeup, so we had the coverage. Editing nightmare! It's like a 50-second cut with lines from all over the script. Rookie move, never again.

@grant_h @missionplanmovie I led the actors in too close to the line, so it was just individual lines without the physical/emotional ramp up. I should have given them more room on both sides, so the full energy was there. We still got good closeups, but one big long take of individual lines wasn't useful and resulted in having to cut one take into 10+ tiny little clips.
