Trying to have a conversation with kids is a wild trip sometimes.

Me: "Look, I have this huge bruise. I fell on the stairs when I was bringing daddy a coffee, and I spilled the coffee all over myself."

6yo: "Why?"

Me: "Like... why did I fall? It was an accident."

6yo: "You fell in the pool?"

Me: "No... on the stairs."

6yo: "Where's the coffee?"

Me: "It's gone. This was like a week ago."

6yo: "What was a week ago?"

@purplepadma Last time I came off anything like this I methodically reduced the dosage over a long period of time by removing the little balls in the pill capsules. I was able to avoid brain zaps and major withdrawals that way. The way they tell you to come off it is a recipe for disaster, in my experience.

Well, I’m up. That was a bad night. It’s absolutely pouring here, great fat heavy raindrops so I don’t think I’m going to go for a walk today. Ugh, I’ve got to do some housework though, Tom did some yesterday while I was writing so it’s my turn. I have no other plans, which is nice. Lazy Sunday.

@Schattenente Excellent point, truly excellent horror films stand out because they're really hard to pull off. It's an art, for sure. More so than many other genres, in my opinion.
