Maybe I'll use the fact that I have my birthday off from work to re-watch the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies.

It's not really... festive, but I haven't planned anything for today anyway, and I liked those movies.

They did a good job of showing a super-hero getting powers pushed on them and then having to learn both, dealing with the powers themselves and with the responsibilities.

Also, Spider-Man stuff is always good.

@evi I think they also make a mobile coffee maker that runs on the same batteries as their other tools, if I'm not mistaken?

Certainly a fun company. 😁

But I can totally get the "I want new 'toys' even though I don't really need them"-urge. That's why I own a set of iFixit tools.^^

I think I haven't mentioned it yet, but if everything goes as planned I'll be at again this year, so, as long as my health gets a bit better, which I assume, and, well, doesn't get worse.^^

So, my Mastodon timeline if very nice when it comes to social issues, veganism and tech.

Furry stuff is not enough, but getting better.

But I severely lack cartoon content. Heck, the "My Little Pony" hashtag is barely used at all, "Disney" is mostly political stuff, I wanna talk about old and new fun cartoons! 😅

Guess I'll need to go the old-fashioned way and sign up to forums, now that Reddit is also breaking everything. 😭

So, ich habe heute meine "Auffrischung" als Brandschutz- und Evakuierungshelfer bekommen.
Und neben dem üblichen Zertifikat haben wir heute auch entsprechende Warnwesten bekommen.
Das ist eigentlich nichts krasses, aber mich freut es, so, als zusätzliches "Geschenk". 😁

Mal sehen ob es dann bei der diesjährigen Ersthelferschulung auch einen...keine Ahnung...Ersthelferstauschlauch gibt. 😁

(Den benutzt man natürlich dabei eigentlich nicht, aber KA, mit fällt nichts besseres ein.^^)

Alrighty, time to once again start the original "Ace Attorney Trilogy".

I often played the first three or so cases, but for varying reasons, technical problems, life stuff happening, always had to interrupt it for too long.

Some months ago I played the newer Ace Attorney games, the "Ace Attorney Chronicles", and I absolutely loved their story and characters.

So, yeah, on to another great adventure hopefully, even though I'll miss Herlock Sholmes & Co. 😁

The Edgeworth one is not on PC, though, is it?
I know I always waited for it back when I played the games on Nintendo devices. So, is that a fan-port?

Ugh, I might actually go to the dentist in two weeks as I generally will have to choose one in the new city anyway, and eh, my teeth seem to need a bit more work on closer inspection than I thought.

You know the silly part? I'm not even afraid of pain really because I have quite good experiences SO FAR with stuff being painless.

But the social part sucks! Especially: I don't want them to tell me how I cared for my teeth badly and how I should've done x and how bad I am or whatever.

Yes, okay, I know by now I fucked up, that was the past, I was an idiot, don't remind me all the time, just fix me and pat my head or something, please! 😭

You might know, I'm a fan of cross-overs in general.

Well, it seems Womanizer, that sex toy company, and Hansgrohe, the German sanitary fittings manufacturer, made a shower head together that is specifically designed to be more effective at being used for masturbation in the shower/bathtub.

And it's basically a regular Hansgrohe shower-head with the same build quality and features they have.

So, should I get this for friends staying over? 😁

So, if I understand it correctly, "Diablo 4" will be "always-on" and, contrary to "Diablo 3", this will also apply to consoles?

"Always-On" is generally a really horrible "design choice", outside of online games, of course, and if they now extend that to consoles and physically bought stuff, yeah, fuck them.

But maybe I just misunderstood something.

But well, as long as Kotick is still there, ah, okay, it's not just him. I just don't see me ever trusting Activision-Blizzard again.

I'm happy it's spring!
Finally warmth on my skin, flowers and green starting to grow everywhere.

I like this season, it looks and feels so much nicer.

The only downside is I need to get some fly screens for my windows, but that's acceptable for all the nice stuff. 🙂

@evi I agree! Usually I say that summer is my favourite season, but right now, I'm already quite happy with the temperatures as they are, so, this spring is very nice for me, and I'll see how much I'll suffer in summer then. 😅

At least my new apartment is finally one with actual window blinds...like...the thick, hard ones, sorry, I don't know English. 😅

My boss just told me I shouldn't use multi-nutrient supplements because they often contain too small amounts of the nutrients.

This is, in general, possible. And in many more cases these things are totally unnecessary and you don't need most of them at all.

But, sorry, I gotta chuckle when I'm told my pills "contain too small amounts" from a person who's pills contain so little content that they need to use letters to show how many hundred times it was mixed with water. 😅 (She's homeopath.)

While I do not consider any of them so far "bad", I, like others, feel the live-action remakes are, well, "unnecessary" and often lack the "over the top" cartoon expressions and emotions.

Now it seems we'll get a "Lilo & Stitch" one.

I LOVE Lilo & Stitch!
On one hand it's great we get new stuff.

But on the other, what I love much about the franchise are it's visuals and designs. The backgrounds, the colours.

And, well, live action can't replicate that. - 1/2

And while Stitch and Angel are what I have most stuff of, I'm still always surprised by the lack of Lilo-related merch. She is also a nice and cute char, but well, I guess she lacks the "mascot power". 😅
