One of the NISA titles I missed out on first time round is "The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince", it's super expensive and rare for a physical copy these days, so when I heard Videogames+ were doing a reprint I jumped on it straight away, ships next week!

Always nice to get a bargain like that! My DS copy of Etrian Odyssey III I got via an ebay alert when someone listed a CIB mint copy for £100 when it usually goes for £200+ and I bought it within 5 minutes of it being listed

Just seen someone on Twitter complaining that Mastodon is dead because "I checked my account for the first time in 6 months and I had a whopping 16 notifications waiting for me"

So they logged in for the first time in 6 months, and obviously hasn't posted anything or interacted with anyone at all in that time, and were surprised that there wasn't much activity? Huh?

A reminder about gun massacres in the USA:

Back in 1979 the Cleveland Elementary School shooting was so shocking that people wrote songs about it.

It was one of two spree shootings that year: there were a total of just 26 shootings in the decade 1970-1979.

Brenda Spencer killed two adults and injured 9 children.

Yesterday (May 6th) there were THREE comparable spree shootings in the USA: the day before that there were FIVE.

There have been 14 spree shootings in the first week of May, 2023.

The Legend Of Heroes Trails To Azure just came out in March and is sold out everywhere for !!!

What's the deal? Was the print run just super small? Does anyone know if NISA plans on another print run?

I can't seem to find much information but I just find it odd. It's such a beloved Falcom series and the game is out of stock everywhere in less than 2 months.

week 6: Persona Livehouse Tour 2015 (Blu-ray) runtime 1h57m

The second of two shows with no band, only Shihoko Hirata, Yumi Kawamura, Lotus Juice, and DJ WAKA. Again this is way better than I was expecting. Filmed at the final night of a 3 show mini tour.

This one features quite a few of the dance remixes from Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and a 10 minute instrumental mix by DJ WAKA. These remixes really work live in this format, I would've loved to have been at this!

Highlights: the dance remixes of Pursuing My True Self (ATLUS Kozuka Remix), Heartbeat Heartbreak (Cloudy Step Mix), Signs of Love (Funky HOME Mix), and Shadow World (ATLUS Kozuka Remix) Shihoko Hirata is amazing

Best moment: Backside of the TV (Lotus Juice Remix) is a great version of one of my fav songs from the P4 OST

The extras on the Blu-ray (30 minutes) show plenty of songs from the other two shows

@OutofPrintArchive the whole P4 Dancing all Night OST is fantastic. There's a bit in that Livehouse Tour show where she does 4 in a row (that vid is one of them) and it's awesome, made me want to go out clubbing again

Those versions wouldn't be possible with the live band, but it really works with just the DJ in the background

@OutofPrintArchive I haven't played the games either, rhythm games are like my worst genre, I suck so much! I bought the JP Vita versions just for the collection, but have never actually played them

The OST though, so good. I still have to pick up the P3 and P5 dancing OSTs, soon!

Found a little local shop that prides itself on offering quite a few games with lower print runs.
Pleasantly surprised by this as this is very unusual around these parts.
The usual comments you get here from shopkeepers while trying to buy games for buying games on certain systems is "you know this won't play on Playstation, right?"
And, no, I'm not kidding. 😅

So I decided to support them and bought a couple more games that I missed out on.

So is a pretty fun Metroidvania with great graphics that looks amazing on the OLED Switch. Can be frustrating in places cos even basic enemies hit super hard and healing items might as well not be in the game considering how hard they are to get (either that or I just suck, which is pretty likely tbh)

Am digging it, 3 bosses down after many many attempts and much swearing
