Had a bit of a rarity just arrive from Japan, Trinity Soul OST. Saw a cheap listing and jumped on it. When it arrived I saw that it was an ex-rental which is why it was cheap. I'd usually be really annoyed by this but it's still in really good condition, the discs are immaculate with not a scratch on them

Normally I'd spend ages taking off the stickers and potentially ruining everything in the process but in this case I think they look kinda cool so I'm gonna leave it as is

OMG I DID IT!!! Cleared all 31 floors of the main dungeon! I have the same feeling I got from beating Dark Souls for the first time

Loads of cool shit just unlocked, now there's lots of new stuff to find. Great game!

@OutofPrintArchive yeah I ordered it direct from LRG when the preorder widow was open on their site last year, it wasn't that expensive, even with VAT and shipping it was just over £40. Same with Portable

Gonna be keeping them both sealed as I have the eshop versions already

@OutofPrintArchive if they are remaking 4 it's a long way off, and IMO it's less in need of a remake anyway. It's a fantastic game as is and still holds up more than 3 did

@OutofPrintArchive there is, but it's utterly pointless imo. The PS4 version runs incredibly well on PS5 (that's the one I played)

I got these 2 games from the 2ndhand market. Blue Reflection was an impulse buy, but there's so few people selling here that I decided to grab it. It has terrible reviews! I haven't even once seen a good review of it, but I like to collect games. Tokyo Mirage is an exclusive and a crossover of and . Couldn't pass the opportunity to get it, but I haven't seen a lot of love for it either.

@OutofPrintArchive @helligbird yeah that's why I'm always banging on about certain games that I really like, I want other people to play them! Then if they're successful they'll hopefully make more... Hopefully I can convince other people to take a chance on a game that I think they'll like

Made it to floor 30/31 in the main dungeon in , so close! 😰

Have unlocked a new treasure room 6 floor dungeon that's full of great items, but also lots of horrible monsters, so you have to be careful

Also finished quite a few story arcs and have several characters who will join me if I see them in the dungeons now. The companions are amazing if you can keep them alive. Most I've had following me at one time is 2, but you can probably have more

So glad I persevered with this

2 more companions, Asuka again, and Hibiki the pirate quartermaster who throws status items at enemies

@OutofPrintArchive I actually love it now, there are some really cool features that I assume are new to this one like item crafting where you can combine two items together either in a synthesis pot or by throwing them at a derpy looking monster called "Mixer"

Of course you then have to kill the monster to get your new weapon back, which can be hard if you've just thrown your best weapon at him...

But yeah, it's an excellent game. Got the previous one on the way from ebay now. Addicted!

Another VGP pre-order from last year just arrived, I'm not a massive platformer fan but this one looked interesting with the roguelike elements and daily tower reset! Came with a soundtrack CD and some nice art cards ❤️

OK I officially "get" Shiren the Wanderer now, currently in the middle of a really good run, unlocked a few new items and monsters that can drop in the dungeons (synthesis pots and the peach club) and just completed a new side dungeon at the first attempt (the ghost ship)

Still not completed the main dungeon yet though

So far my only issues with are all UI related, I wish there was a way to reset all your units (remove all members) and save formations you like, as managing who is in what unit and moving them around can get fiddly. And remembering what unit is good against which enemy type, eg anti-cavalry or whatever

Just stuff like that

Relatively minor complaints though really, game is amazing. I even like the story and the reviews I saw said it was poor (they're wrong)

My issues with the UI are probably made worse by the fact that I'm playing in handheld mode on Switch. My eyesight is rubbish and there's a lot going on. It looks amazing though, I just love running around the world map, it's beautiful

This is gonna be a lot of people's GOTY I think. It's come completely out of nowhere and you can already tell it's an all-timer

"Persona 3 fans slam expansion pass as a cash grab" is the headline on IGN, as if giving the fans what they asked for (the FES content) and OUTRAGEOUSLY asking for money for 30 hours of extra game is the worst thing ever

I dunno, Reload took me over 130 hours to finish, I more than got my money's worth with the base game as is, but no gotta post online about how ANGRY I am at the developers

Must be exhausting being angry all the time
