Auto complete coming to Workbench 🛠️

Besides writing GTK faster than light, I want to use it to help newcomers discover and learn about widgets and properties.

Thanks @andyholmes for the help!

A screencast of Workbench. It shows a list of auto complete options as I type GTK/Blueprint.

I've been trying to figure out how to report a room in the @matrix for a couple of minutes, and I simply can't find anywhere how to do that.

@matrix @element If anyone knows how, let me know. I urgently need to report a room.

After my birthday passed, I'm working on a Banner Previewer and, honestly, despite being simple, it's one of the coolest things I've ever done.

It's still WIP: https://gitlab.gnome.org/CleoMenezesJr/aurea

Not required but using a git repo to source the articles would be nice.

I like to share screenshots and (highlighted) code snippets.

What should I use?

@sonny I'm writing mine using @Astro. I'm quite satisfied with the little time I invested in this.

Do I know any heavy podman users? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts on Pods from the perspective of someone who actually needs an app like this for the Circle review :)

CleoMenezesJr,
@CleoMenezesJr@floss.social avatar

@tbernard I use this app every day.
For me, this is one of the best frontends for Podman. The new version made everything fluffier. Haha

There is one thing from the previous version that was apparently removed in this one, which was that before selecting containers, the next time I select them, they are already pre-selected. It made it much easier to pause/start containers quickly.

In general, I have nothing to complain about, just to be grateful. Great app that helps me in my daily work.

Today, I finally managed to close all browser tabs on my phone. I'm incredibly proud of myself.

@gregorni Wake up, this is all a dream. Your tabs are there waiting for you.

CleoMenezesJr,

@gregorni too late. You just open more tabs on things you swear you'll see later. :itisamystery:

CleoMenezesJr, to neovim
@CleoMenezesJr@floss.social avatar

After almost 2 years using Neovim, I realized that I learned a lot, but that I also followed the simple path of trying to install a plugin before looking for a built-in alternative. Or even for simpler things like f{char} and F{char} which I only learned about 3 weeks ago (and it has greatly improved my workflow). ++

CleoMenezesJr,
@CleoMenezesJr@floss.social avatar

As I was reviewing my configuration, I realized that maybe I had things that I could actually just stop using and try to configure something simpler and built-in. ++

CleoMenezesJr,
@CleoMenezesJr@floss.social avatar

After this brief explanation, I would like to ask you: which features do you think are, in general, replaced by extensions, not because they perhaps offer a superior experience, but just because it is the first option that comes to mind recommending or even use.

CleoMenezesJr,
@CleoMenezesJr@floss.social avatar

@categulario Entiendo tu punto y es basicamente donde voy. No es un reclamo ni nada. Apenas una mirada curiosa sobre como plugins cambió la manera que configuramos el setup

@categulario En lua. Mucho mejor de mantener haha
