I don't love writing with them and I've gotten a couple lemons. I don't like the way they look. It's not the pen for me. I don't think they're that great.

They’re doing too many psychics on this season of #UnsolvedMysteries. We all have our likes and dislikes when it comes to bullshit nonsense, and psychics are a dislike of mine. They are so obviously fake.

I’d probably call the color “US Army pink”, after the drab trousers worn as part of the service dress uniform in the 1940s. There was a faint pinkish hue in the khaki. The army informally called the uniform “pinks and greens”.

Anyway, that kit is awful, and I hope I never see it again.

Just saying but you can use income in college admissions as a pretty reasonable proxy. Or the school the applicant is from. Or even zip code.

Unless universities can no longer try for class or geographic diversity, or indeed do anything besides look at grades and tests.

I keep buying stuff. I don’t know why. I should stop. It’s all cheap stuff, but I still shouldn’t. I bought some Chinese fountain pens, for example.

My opinion on fountain pens is that you have to go way up the price scale before you get a "writing experience" that is all that much different. I think the difference between a $10 pen and an $100 pen is usually tiny. Unless the tines or the tipping are all fucked up, which happens more often on the cheapos.

They took patients’ intake questionnaires and sold them to Facebook.

BetterHelp itself is not a ‘covered provider’ under HIPAA. But they heavily implied any data you gave them was HIPAA covered, and would not be shared.

They have been slapped with an $8 million fine by the FTC.

(I think they should be a HIPAA-covered provider, and they should be prosecuted.)

BetterHelp cannot be trusted. Stay away!
