Our health and safety manager had to knock up a risk assessment on behalf of one of our...lazier team leaders today.

H&S sent the final draft over to TL, called him and asked him to read it, because he's well positioned to add anything that H&S isn't aware of.

TL replied that there's no point, and he doesn't have time anyway. H&S insisted.

TL called back half an hour later to point a variety of things that need to be added.

Reader, I did a sensible chuckle.

Has anyone else with an iOS device on 17.4/.1 noticed that Files is a copper bottomed pile of shit?

Turns out it's been a problem for a couple months, is fixed in the beta of 17.5 which has been up for a couple of weeks, but nothing has been sent out to regular users yet.

Files keeps crashing, meaning you can't access anything in any other apps that use Files for file integration. Which is almost all of them.

Literally the only fix is to restart the device. I just did that, and ten minutes later it's crashed again.

I swear you used to be able to call up the dr at any point in the week to make a routine appointment. But at some point it switched to having to call up at 8:30 on a Monday to join the rush of people trying to get an appointment that's two weeks away.

@ItsThatDeafGuy I often wonder what ours is like if you're deaf. My wife hates to use the phone, so we've set it up so that I can call on their behalf. That still flummoxes some of the receptionists when they call what they think is their number and I answer.
