    @flockofnazguls That has to cover the whole U2 Negativland fiasco. Let me know. I interviewed Ginn at the time and then of course lost the recording (reel to reel days, college idiocy, etc.). And oh, the nostalgia you'll get from revisiting the SST story. Fun times ahead. Congrats!

    I love watching sports. Basketball in particular.

    But the culture can be so toxic or otherwise off-putting.

    This article talks about a top womens basketball coach who loves to proselytize her specific religion to her players.

    I'd guess 95% of players agree and appreciate it, however problematic it is when done at a secular institution.

    Players are often extremely religious, as you'll often hear when they attribute a win (but never a loss) to their god.

    Finally blocked a serial joke thief that pops up in my feed all the time.

    Tbh, the thieving doesn’t really bother me, it’s seeing them run a popular account that doesn’t really interact their thousands of followers that’s all based on nothing more than stealing shit from other people. It highlights just how ultimately pointless all of this is.

    I talked a lot about Moar last year, the garage band Rafael Valles Hilario does with friends. Rafael has another project called Tuff Guac that's similar, but he sang & played everything himself on this second Tuff Guac album 'Swanky Love' that came out today.

    I forget who all liked Moar last year, but if you did, you'll like this. I dig everything Rafael makes. 💥

    Vibrant and mesmerizing Middle Eastern influenced surf music from a talented combo out of SoCal.

    Super producer Jack Endino did the mastering. No wonder it sounds so great.

    I SAVED ACE'S FOR LAST as a reward for listening to well especially Peter's ....
    99% of people would say the classic on here is "New York Groove" and so I'll go along with them but I REALLY REALLY like the spacey, echo laden "I'm In Need Of Love" it's really awesome and druggy
    It just occurred to me listening to "Speedin Back To My Baby" the only solo record that doesn't use female backup vocals is Paul!

    It also occurred to me earlier that part of the reason I don’t have an enormous online presence is because my posts are just whatever shit I’m thinking at that time. I don’t have a Curated Brand, and I think that speaks well of me.

    Basically, my brand is having no brand, which is a spicy market these days, babes.

    Helmet is one of those 'anytime' bands for me. When I can't figure out what the hell to listen to (like now), I can just throw on Helmet. Anything from like, their first 4 or 5 records. That Unsung compilation works great, it has such a great mix. Let papa Page yell at ya for a little bit. Good for the nerves and for the character
