Okay, its a terrible picture and its not ironed cause its way too hot to iron. The pattern is straight, fabric is just bundled up under it.

#DeathByCrossStitch by #LongDogSamplers. Stitched on white 16ct aida fabric, using approx 370 metres of black DMC thread, 6 needles used. Final stitched area is - 55cm wide and 69cm high.

This was a labour of love, a challenge, a reward to myself, part of my #MentalHealth journey.

Its done now.

I asked him if there was a reason he has them....no, just that he wants to, he asked if I have a problem with them.....

Therefore the child is keeping them on so that I cheer up.

Okay, so here's what 3/4 of Death by Cross Stitch looks like. This pattern is huge, I had to get the tall teenager to hold it up so I could get a picture.

Death by Cross Stitch is the name of the pattern by Long Dog Samplers. Thread is DMC 310 and the fabric is white 16 count aida.

Hey folks, its been a brutal night after Bob the Gallstone made his presence well and truly known. A very slow start here and I won't be moving much if I can help it, I feel like someone has kicked the hell out of my abdomen. If I can get comfortable enough, I'm going to crack on with the dragons SAL. Forgive me if I'm not chatty today, Bob is making me pretty ill.

Only 4 days of school for the child, hopefully we can get through them without issue after last week.

#Thursday #Morning folks. I did not sleep well, ironic really considering that yesterday I was getting concerned about how well I have been sleeping lately.

As a result of very little sleep, today is a nope day - that means I only do what is essential and not much else.

My body has seized up this morning, my brain is all over the place, I can hear electricity, anxiety is spiking about the child being back at school today. Deep joy!

I hope you have as good a day as you can.

I'm declaring today a "dead day".

Being awake and moving just isn't happening today. Shoulder feels out of place (again), Bob is stabbing at me (Bob is a giant gallstone), nausea is through the roof, I don't even know what my legs are doing, but something funky is going on there.

What did I do to earn this fun day? I done chores yesterday and had an epsom salt bath to ease the pain. 🙄

Athritis, fibro and Bob can all do one.

I'll be dead and playing WoW for the rest of the day 😁

Oh good morning lovely people, I slept funny and my shoulder is screaming, so some weird stretches will be happening....after coffee.

I've got new motivation to get this one done, I won't start the forest witch until this is done. Hoping to have Death by Cross Stitch finished by May....I could finish it sooner, but I take long breaks from it.

Health Update.

I've finally accepted stronger painkillers, I don't like medication for my own reasons, but a good chat today and I agreed. I have to get more bloods done tomorrow for various things, checking white blood count again, thyroid and menopause bloods. The big result, I've to wait for an appointment for a spinal MRI. I've been asking for one for over a year!
The different GP listened to everything!

I've been up since 4am, its time for some exercise and then breakfast. I'm absolutely starving this morning.
Once food has been demolished, and the kitchen tidied, I will be retreating into a world of netflix and stitching.
The child is not coping with the early start, he is talking more nonsense than usual 😂

This is definitely a slow stitch, or maybe I've just slowed down a lot. I've felt "pressured" with the SALs and other big projects lately, so its been nice to slow down with this project. I really do need to get the daylight lamp plugged in though before I wreck my eyes with this one. These threads are lovely to work with and I love the names of them, they make me smile.

A cross stitch project on "natural" linen. It shows a partial head and dress of a fairy, along with one wing. The wing is large like a butterfly wing, it is mostly pale green with shades of brown and other greens. The dress is a dusky pink colour with dark brown areas. Her skin is pale pink, she has red and brown hair.

Good morning everyone, Monday is here again and I suppose I better get my shit in order, get stuff done and get a routine back. The child is back at school today, straight into assessments - once the assessments are done, thats him finished with school forever 😮
I have lots to do today, Bob the Gallstone is being a dick but on the plus side, I can move a lot easier this morning!
